The Appliance Does Not Work

Q: Appliance not working

A: a) Check power supply and fuse.

A: b) Ensure timer is set to manual. (see user handbook)

Appliance Not The Same Colours As That In The Store

Q: Appliance has different coloured panels to that shown in store.

A: Stainless steel models are covered in a coloured plastic film that must be removed prior to using the appliance.

Surface Temperature Too Hot (including knobs /control panel)

Q: Surface temperature too hot (including knobs /control panel)

A: All appliances are manufactured to the current British standard and if used correctly, surface temperatures will be within these standards.  When using a gas grill the oven door should be open and the grill heat deflector used. Grilling with the electric oven must be done with door closed.

Clicking Noise From Hob/Oven (Gas models only)

Q: A clicking noise can be heard from the Hob/oven when the hob/oven is being ignited. (Gas models only)

A: The ignition system supplies a spark to all electrodes simultaneously and not just the one selected.

Timer Flashing

Q: The timer is flashing

A: This is usually associated with an interruption in the power supply.  The timer should be re-set as per the user instruction book.

Cleaning

Q: What is the best way to clean my appliance?

A: The outer surface of the stainless steel products is coated with a special surface to reduce fingerprint marks and should only be cleaned with a warm soapy water solution. Abrasive cleaners may remove the surface finish and lead to a staining of the stainless steel.

No Electric Cable

Q: My appliance has not been delivered with an electric cable

A: Dual fuel and electric appliances need to be connected by a qualified Tradesperson.

Q: My appliance was delivered unpacked

A: All appliances should be delivered in their original packaging, however the delivery driver may have unpacked the appliance in the van to allow for easier access to the property.
